In early 1996 the Community Access Project was established at the Sioux Lookout Public Library. At present, there are eight computers that have access to the Internet; six of which are located in the C@P room, and two are housed in the main library.
Users also have access to electronic equipment which includes a scanner, laser printer (b&w), and a digital camera.

Usage Fees are as follows:
There is no charge for Internet Access however there is a charge for computer use
Computer Use   $ 1.00 / hour (members)
$ 1.00 / 15 mins (non-members)
Printing  

.25¢ (text)
.50¢ (graphics/pic - less than 1/2 pg)
.75¢ (graphics/pic - 1/2 pg or more)

Scanning   $5.00 per hour or
$ .50 per scan
Computer Room Rental   $20.00 per hour
(additional charges for Internet acess)
Digital Camera   $10.00 per day
(plus $50.00 deposit)
