Volunteering at Your Public Library
It takes a community to build a library and we are grateful for the continuous support we recieve from our volunteers. In recent years, volunteers have contributed their time in a variety of ways:
Helping to run a special event or program alongside staff by setting up/taking down.
Landscaping the exterior of the building and looking after the plants on the inside of the building.
Organizing the used books in the library's basement to help run the annual Blueberry Book Give-Away.
The library also welcomes co-op students for placements and students seeking their 40 hours of community involvement activities. Interested students need to contact Assistant/Children's Librarian, Mike Laverty, at 737-3660 (ext 4403) or firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please submit this online form or visit the library during our working hours.
